The Beautiful Mermaid
Once upon a time, there lived this girl named Rhiannon and her father. Her mom died a very long time ago and she had no siblings. Her father was at work all the time, so her father spent no time with her. Rhiannon was constantly weeping. She wished for a friend. Not just an ordinary friend, but a magical friend that would spend a lot of time with her. One day something horrible happened. Her father got in a big car crash and he was trying to recover. She thought " I am only 13 and my dad is going to die." She wept even more. Then one day this mean, old lady came upon the door. Rhiannon was frightened by the sight she was seeing. Then the phone rang. It was her father. He said" The lady at the door is your new stepmom." "No!" Rhiannon exclaimed. Her father said faintly" You will now follow your stepmother." Then the docter came on the phone and said " Listen to your father's wishes and leave him alone because he is about to die." Rhiannon hung up the phone and let the mean old lady into her house.
