On December the 8th, my family and I will be celebrating Bodhi Day. The story of the Buddha is that he sat under the Bodhi Tree to become enlightened. There is no giving gifts or feasts or parties. We will spend a lot of the day meditating and thinking. On the left side is a picture of the trunk of the Bodhi Tree. This is near India. I really like this holiday because it is very peaceful and quiet. Unfortunately that morning I have to be a elf at my granmothers work and I have to give out presents to all the little kids. Well that is all that is really going on. Bye!!
