Christmastime

Christmastime is beautiful.
also it is fun,
There are joyful spirits
and wrapping needed to be done.


We put up a Christmas tree,
with an angel or star on top
With lots of pretty lights
and an ornament that can pop.


The most important meaning
for this holiday,
That Jesus Christ himself
was born on Christmas day

But little kids
are excited for someone,
For someone with the initials SC
He has something to be done.

He comes down your chimney
with lots of little gifts,
With cars and dolls
and robots that hit.

Then he eats your cookies
and the milk you set out,
He leaves you a note
Then the chimney he goes back out.

As I said
Christmas is fun
and lots of elves
have wrapping to be done.
